Installation

1. Open the battery compartment and insert 2 x AA or AAA batteries, depending on model

2. Test the unit by turning the Run time knob from OFF to ON. You should hear the sound of the motor within 30 seconds (note this delay). If not check the batteries are correctly installed and try again

3. Holding the unit steady, unscrew the outer locking collar until the inner collar is loose. Tighten the inner collar onto your threaded garden tap then tighten the outer collar. Use hand pressure only (no wrench or pliers)

4. Turn on the tap then set the Frequency and Run times. NOTE that with this model you can set ONE watering procedure only from the options provided

5. At any time you can use the manual ON/Off position to over-ride the program. Remember to reselect the Run time required for the program afterwards. There may be a delay before the unit switches

Examples

1. To set watering for 6 am and 6 pm every day for 10 minutes:
On the first day at 6 am or 6 pm turn the Frequency knob to 12 and the Run time knob to 10. 12 hours later the timer will turn on, supply water for 10 minutes and turn off. Thereafter every day at 6 am and 6 pm the program will run for 10 minutes

2. To set watering at 7 am every morning for 20 minutes:
On the first day at 7 am turn the Frequency knob to 24 and the Run time knob to 20. The next day at 7 am the timer will turn on, supply water for 20 minutes and turn off. Thereafter every day at 7 am the program will run for 20 minutes
